He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Bennie and Freda Hill Padilla; his sister Carmen; his brother-in-law Gary Cochran; and his niece Kacey Estep.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Padilla; his daughter Stacy; his son-in-law Wayne Bowman; his son Shane Padilla; his granddaughters, Caitlyn Bowman (Christopher Hodges) and Madison Bowman (Morgan Smith); and his sister Mickey Gillenwater (Buel).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
