She was predeceased by: her husband John; her parents, Wyatt "Hoot" and Lillie Gibson; her sisters, Ruby, Mildred and Florence; and her granddaughters, Misty and Angela.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Gibson (Donna), Curtis Gillispie, Claudia Parsons, Carol Jean Banks and Diana Spurlock; her siblings, JoAnna Fletcher and George "Buddy" Gibson (Reba); and her grandchildren, Tina, Michelle, Mike, Tammy, Wayne, John, Scott, Amy Lea, Ted, Treena, Stephanie, Alicia and Tiffany. She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
