With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Laymen of Alum Creek, West Virginia, born in West Hamlin, West Virginia, who passed away on January 6, 2021 at the age of 74. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lissie Adkins and Alia Adkins (Richmond); her husband David Patrick Layman; her siblings, Eugene Adkins, Jimmie Adkins, Jackie Adkins, Tommy Adkins, Samuel Adkins, Betty Adkins, Elizabeth Adkins, Barbara O'Connor and Dottie Satterfield; and her niece Lisa Adkins.
She is survived by: her stepsons, David Layman and Adam Layman; her nieces and nephews, Rachel Bays (Greg), Robin Elkins (Billy), Keith Evans (Arlene), Justin O'Connor and Kenny Adkins (Lisa); her sisters-in-law, Janet Adkins and Rhonda Adkins; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Dustin Elkins, Blaze Scraggs, Todd Gilkerson, Steven Gilkerson, Josh Adkins, Mikki Shoemake (Ryan), Anastasia Gilkerson, Cassi Sergent (Timothy) and Shea Bell.
