She was predeceased by: her parents, Kelly B. Tackett and Athalene Pauley Tackett; her husband Tommy; her son Kenny Marker; her grandson Timmy Marker; and her siblings, Sue Kingery and Ted Tackett.

She is survived by: her children, Teresa (Russel Breedlove), Melinda (Tracy Stewart), Jimmy Marker, Jeff (Jennifer Quintrell) and Michael (Annie Quintrell). She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
