He was predeceased by: his parents, Dola Parsons and Bertha Parsons; and his siblings, Dale Parsons (Dayton Parsons), Nadine Hemmings (Vivian Smith), Eddie Parsons and Janice James.
He is survived by: his wife A. Carol Parsons; his children, Tim Parsons, Angela Parsons, Deborah Swisher (Daniel) and Amanda Parsons; his grandchildren, Huntter, Lyndsay, Emily, Ethan, Nathaniel, Michael, Luke, Brianna, Matthew and Benjamin; his great grandchildren, Leeland and Laykyn; and his siblings, Roger Parsons, Jimmy Parsons, Sharon Dunlap and Bonnie Alford.
