With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doyle Kelva Hartwell (Alum Creek, West Virginia), born in Sod, West Virginia, who passed away on April 4, 2022 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Doris Shelton Green Hartwell; his parents, Kelva F. Hartwell and Lota McClure Hartwell; his children, Ronald Green, Anita Gale Sims (Doug) of St. Albans and Mark Alan Hartwell (Shauna) of Houston Texas; his grandchildren, Daniel Green (Sandi) of Williamsburg, Virginia., Natalie Sims, Whitney Sims, Caleb Hartwell (Mandy), Katie Hartwell, Sara Jones (Brian), Rebecca Travis (Eric), Stacey Rayburn (Brad), Jason Green (Lana), Brian Green and Zachary Green; his great grandchildren, Tyler Rayburn, Connor Rayburn, Sara Green, Anna Bell Green, Hannah Miller, Madison Farley (C. W.), Mallory Jones, Christopher Travis, Benjamin Travis, Clair Travis, Andrew Travis, Juliette Travis, Scotlynn Hartwell and Jameson Hartwell; his brother Charles Hartwell (Betty); and his aunt Phyllis Hartwell Nunn. He was also cherished by many great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
