We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2024, Carolyn Jane Abbott (Alum Creek, West Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hudson and Melvia Williams Hudson; her son Gregory Abbott; and her brothers, Gary and Chuck Hudson.

She is survived by: her husband Greg Abbott; her daughters, Shelly Wikel (Eddie) and Cristie Curry (Jessie); her siblings, Bob Hudson (Sue), Jim Hudson (Charla), Mark Hudson (Robin), Linda Taylor (Jerry) and Kevin Hudson (Shayna); her grandchildren, Haley, Brett, Dakota, Dalton, Junior, Ernie, Darian, Billy, Jeremy, Destiny, Dezeria, Ella, Isaiah and Mylee; and her great grandchildren, Stevie, Emma, Abel and Paisley.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Curry Funeral Home (2097 Childress Rd, Alum Creek, WV 25003). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
