He is survived by: his daughters, Erica Elliott (Aaron) of Elsmere and Katherine Jean Denney of Knoxville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Colton Parish, Kaden Elliott and Kinsley Elliott; his close friend Crissy Owen of Alum Creek; his siblings, Ray Rankin of Postville, Dan Rankin of Janesville, Henry Rankin of Castalia, Iowa, Penny Parks of Winchester and Darlene Fels of Hawkeye, Iowa; his cousin Joe Campell; his stepmother Rita Rankin of Iowa; and also Claybourne. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
