It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Lou Freeman of Alum Bridge, West Virginia, who passed away on June 10, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Hickman and Veda Beatrice Hickman (Flint); her close friend Virgil Ray Hall; her son Jonathan Steele; and her siblings, Jerry, Gearl, Teddy Hickman, Lilly Hickman and Lorena Hickman Stout.
She is survived by: her sons, Travis Steele (Tina) of Weston, Scott Freeman (Rose) of St. Alban's, Daniel Hall (Haley) of Glenville and Jamey Hall (Kati) of Alum Bridge; her grandchildren, Shawn Freeman, Douglas Scott Freeman, Jr., Zach Freeman, Taylor Freeman, Mandy Hall, Hunter Hall, Jaxson Hall, Kasey Parsons, Cole Parsons and Jacob Steele; her great grandchildren, Aurora Freeman, Rylee Smoot, Gracelynn Freeman and Autumn Freeman; and her sisters, Veda Lucille Brake (Steve) of Weston, Janey K. Vanhorn of Weston and Beverly A. Kingery (Jim) of Charleston.
