He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Columbus and Isabelle Lester (Belcher); his daughter Judy Lester; and his siblings, Ilene Altice, Archie Lester, Willie Lester, Ord Lester, Mason Lester, Ola Basil, Frank Lester and Ruby Lester.
He is survived by: his wife Goldie Lester; his son Conley Lester (Tina) of Covel; his grandchildren, Lanisha and Stephen Lester of Covel; his siblings, Mildred Goode of Hinton and Roy Roger Lester (Marie) of Virginia; and his special breakfast buddy Paul Sizemore.
