He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Gorby and Bessie Gorby (Seckman); his siblings, Robert Gorby, Edwin Gorby and Hilda McCullough; his siblings-in-law, Kay Gorby and Robert McCullough; his son-in-law James Stokes; and his niece Janet Koontz.
He is survived by: his nephews, Brent and Eric Gorby; his wife Paulette Gorby (Lancaster); his children, Jennifer Stokes of Parkersburg, WV, Jimmy Gorby (Lisa Dawn) of Sistersville, WV and Lacey Radabaugh (Josh) of Alma, WV; and his grandchildren, Sean Stokes (Christina) of Parkersburg, WV, Emily Gorby of Sistersville, WV and Alexis Gorby (Eric Quell) of Paden City, WV. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
