He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond C. Grimmett and Flora C. Richmond Grimmett; his wife Maple Grimmett; and his siblings, Leona Ramsey, Alma Reed and Owen Grimmett.
He is survived by: his sons, Roger of Alderson and Mike Grimmett of Alderson; and his grandchildren, Cody Grimmett and Cassandra Persinger. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
