Rodney Lee Knapp Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rodney Lee Knapp (Alderson, West Virginia), who passed away on March 24, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Rodney Lee may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rodney Lee touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Knapp and Elizabeth Knapp; and his siblings, Carolyn Thompson and Ronald Knapp. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Jo Knapp; his daughter Michelle Knapp-Huffman of Alderson; his granddaughters, Cynthia Stacks (Eddie) and Tiara Henson of Dothan, Alabama; and his great grandchildren, Alaina, Delilah and Nevaeh Stacks. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and close cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Old Greenbrier Baptist Church (301 N Monroe St, Alderson, WV 24910).
