It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Alderson of Alderson, West Virginia, who passed away on April 10, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ray "Bill" Alderson and Loretta Mae Dalton Alderson; and his sister Debbie Sue Alderson. He is survived by: his daughter Laurel Karnes (J. T.) of Gap Mills; his grandchildren, Alex and Ava Karnes; his brothers, Frankie Alderson (Janet) of Asbury, Eddie Alderson (Cindy) of Alderson, Doug Alderson (Amanda) of Alderson and Joe Alderson of Alderson; his nieces and nephews, Willie Alderson (Sarah), Joey Alderson (Jessica), Brittany Miller (Riley) and Savannah Alderson; his pet Bob; and his close friends, Mike and Jeff Ambler. He is also survived by several great nieces and one great nephew.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Groves-Mann Funeral Home (715 Sweet Springs Valley Rd, Union, WV 24983). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
