She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Burns and Pauline Bostic Burns; her sisters, Viola V Burns and Geraldine Terry (Lester); and her brother-in-law Hershel Thompson of Fort Springs.
She is survived by: the father of her children Forest (Tommy); her children, Debra (David Ballard) of Alderson, Tammy (Kenny Jarvis) of Sugar Grove, VA and Tommy (Teresa Wilson) of Covington, VA; her sister Patsie Thompson of Fort Springs; and her grandchildren, Tommy, Tyler, Sarah, Brittney, Nathan, Holly, Brooke, Daniel and Heather. She is also survived by 22 great grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.
