It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Lee Harris of Alderson, West Virginia, born in Ronceverte, West Virginia, who passed away on August 11, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, G. Hugh Harris and Alice Mae Harris (Moten); his siblings, James Earl Harris, Larry Joe Harris and Melinda Boggess Bowden; and his grandchild Corbin Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Julia Harris (Crawford); his daughters, Leslie (Jacob Cayanus) of Detroit, MI and Monica Walker of Alderson; his siblings, Garland Hugh Harris (Sharon) of Alderson, David Harris (Barbara) of Morgantown and Sheila Harris of Alderson; his brother-in-law John Crawford of Alderson; his grandchildren, McGuire Reid, Noah Reid, Avery Reid of Detroit, Jaydon Carter and Adairean Walker of Alderson; and his uncle Earl Ray Moten (Wanda) of Peterstown. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Peyton Hospice House, 1265 Maplewood Ave., Lewisburg, WV 24901.
