She was predeceased by: her parents, William Harold and Alice Opal Ellis Hoke; her husband Bobby Ray Ballengee; her sister Patricia Hill; and her granddaughter Aimee Elizabeth Ballengee.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Jean Ballengee Cayton (Jim) of Washington, Timothy Ray Ballengee (Beverly) of Alderson and Jason Harold Ballengee (Kelly) of Shady Spring; and her siblings, Haroldine Ward (W. Va) of Wayside, Lyndon Hoke (Alma) of Creamery and David Hoke of Pence Springs. She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews; and some very special neighbors.
