She was predeceased by: her parents, Jackson Owen and Faye Bostic Arbaugh. She is survived by: her husband Lee McCarty; her children, Edward L. McCarty, Michael A. McCarty, David D. McCarty and Tammy F. McCarty; and her siblings, Johnny Phillips, Sammy Phillips, Carol Holt and Sharon Weikle. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
