With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Christine Lackey Smith of Alderson, West Virginia, born in Marfrance, West Virginia, who passed away on December 16, 2022 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lackey and Cora Mae Ford Lackey; and her husband Zelphia A. Williams. She is survived by: her daughters, Libby Fox of Hinton, W. Va, Debbie McInelly (Roger) of North Dakota, Donna Simms (Rick) of Alderson, Patty Jones (Frank) of Alderson and Carolyn Dean (W. Va) of Marlinton. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildren; 21 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
