It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Buford Watson Hanson (Alderson, West Virginia), who passed away on April 9, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Spicer Hanson and Glenna Hanson Stanley (Chambers); his siblings, Deane Lackey, Mavis Tritt, Birtha Earleane Hanson, Mary Heath, Bud Hanson and Jim Hanson; and his stepfather Charles Edward Stanley.

He is survived by: his sisters, Ruth Taylor, Rebecca Stanley Schrader and Roberta Stanley Taliaferro. He is also survived by several nephews, neices, and cousins.
