He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Paul Summers and Shirley Summers (Wilhelm); his former wife Janet Summers (Jordan); his brothers, Paul and Bradley Summers; and his sisters-in-law, Patty and Kay Summers.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Summers (VanDyke); and his siblings, Jack Summers (Terry) of Lenox, Joyce (Robert), Pam Casteel (Eddie) of Bruceton Mills and Vickie Summers of Lenox. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
