Melvin Ray Bishop Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Ray Bishop of Albright, West Virginia, born in Kingwood, West Virginia, who passed away on November 23, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon A. Bishop and Lula Marie Bishop (Blosser); and his siblings, Dayton A Bishop, Tracy Bishop, Gordon Bishop, Jr., Mary Lou Hrdlicka, Patty B. Bigler and Elizabeth Wiles.

He is survived by: his children, Donny Ray Radabaugh, Gregory Bishop and Melanie L Bishop; his granddaughters, Jessica M Bishop, Diane SanJulian and Allison Holt; his siblings, Douglas A Bishop, Russell R Bishop, Rosella "Marty" Moore, Lavonne Sylvester, Beverly Croft, Shelba Fullmer and Linda King; and his close friend Virginia "Cookie" LaMar. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Due to COVID-19, safety precautions will be taken, the social distancing 6-foot rule will be honored and all guests, whose health allows, are to wear a mask.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Field Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
