He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Uphold and Lela Lipscomb Uphold; his siblings, Bob Uphold and Ruby Strahin; and his brothers-in-law, Fred Strahin and Lloyd Howell.

He is survived by: his wife Ronda Sisler Uphold; his children, Joshua Sisler, Tyler Uphold (Christine), Zachary Saunders (Michelle), Chris Stevens, Amanda Uphold Casteel (Adam) and Ashlee Saunders; his grandchildren, Nevaeh, Olivia, Cole Christopher, Gabe and Christian; and his siblings, Fred Uphold (Linda) and Shirley Howell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

During visitation masks and social distancing should be observed.
