He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Clayton "Porky" and Della Mae Thomas Loughry; his wife Edna Yvonne Kelly Loughry; and his siblings, Robert Clayton "Bones" Loughry, Jr. and Barbara Jean Kenchiova.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Hershman (Tim) of Terra Alta, Kelly Loughry (Nathaniel Grimm) of Albright, WV, Kerri Ann Loughry of Morgantown and Danny (Brandy Loughry) of Hazelton, WV; his siblings, Sheila "Sis" Loughry of Reedsville, WV, Roger "Dano" (Tammy), Eddie "Moose" (Connie), Ronnie "Monk" (Lisa), Jimmy "Jimbo" (Lois) and Randy "Stacks" (Missy); his grandchildren, Dylan, Tory Beth, Destinee, Lexie and Wyatt; his great grandchild Caden; his daughter Samantha; and his grandchildren, Carson, Paizley and Grady. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to the increased prevalence of the COVID virus, a public funeral and burial will be held at the Centenary Cemetery in Bruceton Mills, Wednesday, October 20, 2021, from 12:00 noon until the 1:00 p. m. service, with Pastor David Turner officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
