It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Corey Jackson Uphold of Albright, West Virginia, who passed away on March 14, 2025, at the age of 34, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father William Jackson Uphold Jr.; and his grandparents, Elmer "Scrubby" Sell, Jack Uphold and Donna Uphold. He is survived by: his mother Theresa Lynne Uphold (Sell); his daughter Wynter Hope Uphold; the mother of his child Jessica Martin; his sister Rhonda L. Bucklew; his niece Samantha; his great-niece Kiki; his nephew Hunter; his great-nephew Finley; and his grandmother Burga Sell. He is also survived by many extended family members, including aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A reception was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kingwood Funeral Home (295 S Price St, Kingwood, WV 26537).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to Corey's funeral care fund to help with funeral expenses.
