He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Tackett and Betty Tackett (Collins); his grandparents, Lewis, Rachel Collins, Hobart and Gracie Tackett; his mother-in-law Janice Bias; and his siblings-in-law, Roland Toler, Connie Tackett and Sharon Tackett.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Francis Tackett; his daughters, Rebecca Whitt (Randall) of Man and Kayla Tackett of Accoville; his granddaughters, Abby Atkins, Brianna Brumfield, Chelsea Brumfield and Ella Osborne; his siblings, Lucille Toler of Kopperston, Gordon Tackett of Wayne, Robert "Bob" Tackett (Marion) of Kopperston, Dallas Tackett of Accoville, Lewis "Ed" Tackett (Delana) of Accoville and Kenny Tackett of Accoville; and his close friend Mike Browning of Accoville. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews along with a host of other relatives and friends.
