He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dettman (Charlie) and Viola Dettman (Sommerfeldt); his grandparents, Doris, Otto Sommerfeldt, Gus and Ida Dettman; and his siblings, Don, Dale Dettman and Betty Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Linda E. York; and his sisters, Ardelle Raedaz and Darlene Denzer.
