It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Bowers (Wrightstown, Wisconsin), who passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Eleanor Bowers (Green); his father-in-law Frank Lamers; and his sister-in-law Lori Lamers. He is survived by: his father Bud Bowers; his wife Lisa; his children, Val Aune (Chris), Nick Bowers (Jolene), Aleana Henquinet (Steve), Monica Mayer (Dan) and Ella Staedt (Alan); his grandchildren, Addison, Owen, Logan, Bergen, Gracyn, Leo and Myla; his friend Tom Aerts; and his siblings, Keith Bowers (Judy), Sue Brochtrup (Gary), Carol Van Rossum (Dennis), Jim Bowers (Shelia), Alan Bowers (Laurie), Mike Bowers (Laurie), Mary Vanden Wymelenberg (Rick), Ken Bowers (Judy Lynn), Amy Francis (Tony), Nancy Francis (Mike) and Jeff Bowers (Stephanie). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family has established a fund to create a garden with benches and trees at Tiger Stadium.
