It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Jacob Bastian of Wrightstown, Wisconsin, born in Appleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 19, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Bastian and Agnes Bastian (VanderBloomen); his wife Lois Bastian (Vanderheiden); his son Gerald; and his siblings, Kenneth Bastian (Rose Marie) and Lorraine Berken (Gordon).
He is survived by: his son Richard; his daughter-in-law Betty Bastian; his brother Marvin Bastian (Eloyice); and his grandchildren, Lisa Garrett (Chris), David and Jeffrey Bastian (Michelle). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
