She was predeceased by: her daughter Joan; her boyfriend's daughter Penny; and her brothers, Jack Bowers (Jean) and Tom Bowers. She is survived by: her boyfriend Rod Friday; her children, Julie Martin (John, family: Trevor, Dylan, Haley) and Jean Vande Hey (Ron Roehrborn, family: Nathan Eiting); her grandchildren, Grant and Claire; her son Jeff Vande Hey (Colleen Theunis, family: BJ, Kristy); her grandsons, Aiden and Wyatt; her son Jim Vande Hey (Amy, family: James, Jessica, Shawn); her grandchildren, Isaiah, Amara and Luna; her daughter Jill Micke (Brian, family: Anastasia, Will, Cole, Avi); her boyfriend's son Jesse Friday (Misty Goff); her sisters, Betty Munier (Jim) and Alice Brooks (Roger); her sister-in-law Karen Bowers; and also Nicki (John). She is also survived by family and Linzy and her family; great-grandchildren.
A memorial fund will be set up in Jan's name. Donations will be sent to the Alzheimer's Association.
