He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Gartmann and Thelma Gartmann (Stayberg); his sister Nancy; his brother-in-law Art Hawkinson of Art's Auto Parts; his brother Tony Gartmann; and his brother-in-law Rod Hoyt.
He is survived by: his wife Faye (Veenendall); his children, Amy Welch (Dan), Lisa Gartmann (Darrin Forrest), Jeff Gartmann and Tim Gartmann (Pam); his grandchildren, Samantha Hoepner (Nate), Stephanie Chapa (Jon), Nathan Welch (Ava), Rebekah Welch, Hannah Forrest, Dakota Gartmann, Grace Gartmann, Paisley Gartmann, Emelynn Gartmann, Henry Gartmann and Amelia Gartmann; his great grandchildren, Lillian Welch and Evelyn Hoepner; his sisters-in-law, Marcia Oswald (Jim), Lori Hoyt, Beth Hayes and Christine Gartmann; and his cousin Virginia Gartman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
