He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jerome Lorentz and Marie Lorentz (Otto); his spouse Carol Ann Langenfeld; his children, Kelly Gullixson (Eric) of Woodville, Robin Anderson (Joe) of Baldwin, Jeff Lorentz (Kelli) of Woodville and Kevin Lorentz (Michelle) of New Richmond; his grandchildren, Andrew (Fiancee Amber), Hannah, Brittney, Carlie, Jacob, Aubrie, Kole, Klay, Josie, Kinsley, Jaxson and Avery; his siblings, Jack Lorentz (Debby) of Cannon Falls, Marie Malenfant (Phillip) of Alaska, Janet Peine (Steve) of Hastings and Don Lorentz of No; his brother-in-law Al Lindell of Welch, MN; his parents-in-law, Frank and Leona Langenfeld; his sister Louise Lindell; and his niece Erica Langenfeld. He was also cherished by extended family; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Adoray Hospice who allowed him to die with dignity at home with his family by his side.
