He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Johnson and Annie Johnson (Benson); his wife Ruth Bowman; his siblings, Caroline (Dutch Schoeder), Walt (Marge Johnson), Lyle Johnson and Margaret (Lyman Wolske); his sisters-in-law, Carleen Johnson and Arline Johnson; and his nephew Rory Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis, Doug (Lori), Debbie Harmon (Arvid), Diane (Gary Larson), Darla Joncas (Steve) and Dale Johnson; his brothers, Jerry (Carol), Richard (Lynda) and Joe Johnson; his parents-in-law, Ruby Bergquist and Ardell Bowman; his grandchildren, Jeff Johnson, Jeremy (Aimie), Cory, Natasha (Brent), Lynne (Danny), Leroy, Travis (Sam), Lacey, Amber (Justin), Briana and Cody; and his close friend Jessica Fritz (JJ). He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and tons of nieces, nephews, outlaws and friends.
