He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Barcus and Goldie Barcus. He is survived by: his wife Michele Bruette; his stepchildren, Nicole Bruette, Amy Palkovitz (Michael Palkovitz), Michael Bruette (Jane Bay) and Lance Bruette (Melanie Alvardo); his stepgrandchildren, Tre Bruette, Michael Palkovitz Jr., Joshua Palkovitz, Noah Palkovitz, Cody Guild, Ahna Bruette and Lance Bruette Jr.; his stepgreat-grandchild Azalea Bruette; his sister Virginia Silver; his daughters, Pamela Thomssen (Gary) and Vicki Keller (Ed); his grandchildren, Eddie Glenn Keller (Jeanette) and Chelsea Taylor (Bill); and his great grandchildren, Adeline Marie and Jackson Glenn Taylor.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Oneida or Vilas County Humane Society.
