He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Amy Stahl Beetstra (John), Deborah Stahl Huberty (Joe) and John Stahl II (Kari); his sister Barbara Stahl DeVan (Byron); his grandchildren, Jason Beetstra, Erin Beetstra Bauman (Matt), Eric Huberty, Todd Huberty, Ben Huberty, Nicole Stahl Scott (Rich), John Stahl III, Sean Stahl and Holly Stahl; his great grandchildren, Aria Scott and Jude Scott; his parents, Fred Stahl and Iona Lusher Stahl; and his brother Giles Stahl (Bernie).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Manitowish Waters Community Church or the 1st Presbyterian Church of Harvard.
