He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Sedlak and Lillian Sedlak; his daughter Diane; and his grandson Michael (Ellen Sedlak). He is survived by: his children, Debbie Kendall (David), Dawn Sedlak and Richard "Dick" Sedlak (Kellie); his grandchildren, Jocelyn Kendall, Melissa Day and Timothy Sedlak; and his great grandchildren, Benjamin and Peyton.
