He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Metzger and Mary Metzger; his daughter Amy Metzger Schulz; his siblings, Wally, Arlene, Genevieve, Margaret and Fred; and his grandchild Zeke Metzger.
He is survived by: his children, Kurt (Karen), Chad (Sandi), Emily (Nathan) and Jay (Sarah); his grandchildren, Andrew, Jonathan, Grant, Christopher, Elizabeth, Max, Maggie, Abigail, Luke, Timothy, Isaac, Jack, Brock, Anna, Maverick, Clark, Nora, Hank, Benjamin, Moriah, Jenna, William, Ava Grace, Sophia, Paisley and Aubree; his great grandchildren, Lawrence, Emilia, Brantley, Ele, Yuki and Santiago; and his sister JoAnn LeFleur. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
