He is survived by: his children, David Joseph Hafele (Mimi) of Honolulu, HI, Ann May (David) of Fairbanks, AK, Susan Denning (Shaun) of North Pole, AK, Joan Stepovich (Christopher) of Fairbanks, AK and Grace Minder (Richard) of Fairbanks, AK.; his grandchildren, Cory, Kerry, Jennifer, Alisa, Curtis, Jesse, Cherish, Shane, Shannon, Steven, Sarah, Marko, Christopher, Lawrence, David, Sierra, Mariah and John Thomas; his great grandchildren, Brian, Bella, Kayden, Avery, Landon, Jariah, Shelee, Ashley, Haley, Jackson, Kody, Makenzie, Keegan, Kiersten, Sienna, Zemirah, Azarah and Katherine; and his great great grandchildren, Ellie and Jarek Erekson.
