He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sr. Rayala and Lillian Rayala; his brother Mike; his sister-in-law Sherry; and his stepgrandson Zeke Jonas.
He is survived by: his children, Chuck (Jeanine), Brian (Rene), Gene, Jackie (Mike Michaelis) and Roger; his siblings, Don (Janice), Audrey, Jerry (Paula), Martin, Carolyn (Bob Kovar), Bonnie and Tari (Pat Kohlin); his wife Hester Organist; his grandchildren, Ty (Becky), Travis (Katie), Chelsey (Nick), Shelby (Jordan) and Monica (Nick); and his stepgrandchildren, Brittany (Matt Schultz), Zach Jonas (Kandace), Lyndsey Jonas and Natalie (Matt Ritchie). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
For this reason, the family asks that in lieu of flowers or gifts, that anyone would direct their generosity to the Manitowish Waters Fire Company or to the Manitowish Waters Sno-Skeeters, two organizations that Charlie was proud to be a part of.
