He was predeceased by: his wife Pat; his son Brad; his grandson Nate; and his great grandchild Kage. He is survived by: his children, Mertie Wachter (Kaiser), Clifford (Trudy), Wendy Wachter, Susie Mergen (Bill), Lisa Wachter, Tom (Cindy) and Tim; his daughter-in-law Denise Wachter; and his sister-in-law Doris Ann Wachter. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to either The Freedom Honor Flight in LaCrosse, WI, Mt. Hope Legion Post 229, or the Mt. Hope United Methodist Church.
