He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Braunschweig and Mabel Braunschweig (Henschel); his stepfather Eddie McDonald; his parents-in-law, Helen and Walter Berghammer; his sister Emily Escobar; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Mittelstadt, John Escobar, Fred Gutschenritter and Diane Gutschenritter.
He is survived by: his son Jason (Vikki) of Neosho; his wife Darlene (Berghammer); his children, Joel (Kelly) of Iron Ridge and Jennifer Chadli (Harry) of Madison; his grandchildren, Alex (Leah), Emma, Max, Kayla, Sophia, Zaynab, Amina, Winsley, Weston, Jaylen and Jeremiah; and his siblings, Judy Mittelstadt, Peggy Davolt, Ken Braunschweig (Diane), Mark Braunschweig (Renee), Donna and Wayne Neu.
