He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Gehri and Mabel Gehri (Pagel); and his siblings, Ben (Geraldine), Fern Talg (Norb), Violet Leist (Bud), Joyce Stetler (Harry) and Janet Ott (Ron).
He is survived by: his wife Vera Breneman; his children, Allan (Jennifer) of Wonewoc, David of Tampa, FL, Kathy Galvez (Tim) of St. Peters, MO, Dan (Kristin) of Oshkosh and Calvin (Sarah) of La Crescent, MN; his grandchildren, Barron Gehri, Brandon Gehri (Belinda), Todd Gehri (Heather), Ben Hovde (Leah), Ashley Fenne, Arika Gehri, Morgan Gehri, Brenna Gehri and Evan Tooley; and his brother John (Audrey). He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Instead of flowers memorials can be given to St. Paul's Lutheran School or Elroy Health Services.
