She was predeceased by: her parents, John G. Bauer and Alma Bauer-Buchanan (Wargowsky); her husband Donald Trettin; her stepfather Wallace Buchanan; and her daughter Katherine Preuss.

She is survived by: her daughter Rosemary Bilek; her son-in-law Mark Preuss; her grandchildren, Stephen Bilek (Andi), Nathan Preuss, Danny Preuss (Morgan) and Krystal Preuss; and her great grandchildren, Mona Bilek, Morgan Bilek and Maeve Preuss.
