He is survived by: his children, Debbie Heiking of Lime Ridge, Cheryl Perry of Reedsburg, Steven Peterson (Sandy) of Reedsburg and Jennifer Gnirk (Darin) of LaValle; his grandchildren, Amber, Nathan, Derek, Dustin, Brianna, Dylan, Brandi, Morgan and Peter; and his siblings, Mary Ann Spencer, James Peterson, Sally Haftield (Gary), Jeanette McCarthy (Bob), William Peterson (Jean), Linda Osborn (Wayne), Allan Peterson, Joseph Peterson, Conrad Peterson (Teresa) and Leonard Peterson (Roberta). He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
