He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Lally and Mary "Betty" Lally (Macke). He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his brother Dr. Tom Lally (Nancy); his siblings-in-law, Madge Baker and Steve Baker (Colleen); his pet Wilson; and also Drew Benish.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Picha Funeral Home (402 Center St, Wonewoc, WI 53968). A memorial service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Jerome's Catholic Church (528 Center St, Wonewoc, WI 53968).
