She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Biermeier and Leora M. Biermeier (Miller); her husband William O. Sands; her son Merwin; and her siblings, James, David Biermeier and Helen Longnecker (Robert).
She is survived by: her children, Michael Sands (Ann) of Memphis, TN and Merry Klaetsch (Alvin) of Reedsburg; her grandchildren, Matthew Sands (Stacie), Melinda Quinn (Marc), Spencer Czarnecki, Jeffrey Klaetsch (Shantine), Melanie Klaetsch, Kelly Klaetsch (Becky) and Lacey Fulk (Mike); her siblings, Dorothy Doyle, John Biermeier (Beverly) and Robert Nowatzski (Sharon); her sisters-in-law, Marian Biermeier and Doris Biermeier; and her daughter-in-law Anna Sands. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and friends.
