It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rex Roger Carlson of Wittenberg, Wisconsin, born in Wausau, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Carlson and Beatrice Carlson (Madson); his brother Russell; and his father-in-law Dave Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Jackson; his children, Brett Carlson of Birnamwood and Melanie Nytes (Franklyn) of Neenah; his granddaughter Phoenix; his siblings, Dean Carlson (Pam) of Wittenberg and Joy Tryba (Gerald) of Pike Lake; his sisters-in-law, Sherry Jackson-Reeder (Cornelius) of Madison and Paula Sharon (Tim) of Antigo; his mother-in-law Fran Jackson of Antigo; and his close friends, Jim Fanning, Joan Bohlman, Chip and Buntrock. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and coworkers.
