It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Judith Brandt (Wittenberg, Wisconsin), born in Mattoon, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Fischer and Margaret Fischer (Bossell); her siblings, Karen Weber-Rotta and Jim Fischer; her nieces and nephews, Diane Weber Anderson, Jane Heil, Lorraine Ferge, Aaron Cummings and Russel Cummings; and her siblings-in-law, Velma Day (Coleman), Betty Ferge (Clarence), Eugene Brandt (Anita), Lowell Brandt (Marilyn), Gordon Rotta and Francis Weber.
She is survived by: her husband Robert'Willie'; her children, Joel Brandt (Raeann), Todd Brandt (Heather) and Kim Buntin (Shawn); her grandchildren, Meghan Knitter (Ronald), Jessica Hood (John), Jared Buntin (Bre), Jordan Buntin (Emily Mihalovic), Tyler Schulz (Rylie) and Addison Whiteside; her great grandchildren, Dominick, Henry, Oliver, Charlotte, Finn Knitter, Lausen, William Hood and Thomas Schulz; her brother John Fischer (Janet); her sister-in-law Maddie Fischer; and her close friend Lydia Valenzuela. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM and on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 7:30 PM at the Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home (401 W College Ave, Wittenberg, WI 54499). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. William Catholic Church (202 N Ellms St, Wittenberg, WI 54499).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Judy's name to Holy Family – St. William Catholic Church.
