He was predeceased by: his brother Jason Cole Hoekstra; and his grandfathers, Frank Hoekstra and John Ellerbrock. He is survived by: his parents, Peter Hoekstra and Colleen Hoekstra (Ellerbrock); and his grandmothers, Marian Hoekstra and Eloise Ellerbrock. He is also survived by several other family members and friends.
