He was predeceased by: his parents, Elroy Peterson and Viola Peterson (Hegewald); his brothers-in-law, Roy Schmidt and Ken Krause; and his godson Lance Schmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Peterson (Krause); his daughter Tracy Dombeck (Derek); his grandchildren, Makenna, Robbie and Lexi; his son Chad Peterson (Shelley); his grandchildren, Lindsey, Nicole and Hank; his sister Judy Schmidt; his niece Jodi; his daughter-in-law Barbara Schmidt; his sister-in-law Faythe Nowitzke (Dan); and his nieces and nephews, Maxx and Katy. He is also survived by many relatives, friends and neighbors, including many special friends.
